How it began
The idea came from something we kept seeing around Dubai Media City: nearly every car hauled out of an office basement because it "wouldn't start" was being towed over a part that takes a quarter of an hour to replace. The tow cost more than a new battery, the owner lost the car for two days, and then paid a workshop to diagnose what a three-minute load test in the car park would have revealed.
After 7 years and 16,000 batteries, the model has not changed: batteries carried on the van, a proper load test before we sell you anything, and a price agreed before we leave.
Our approach
Before giving a price we test both the battery and the charging system. When the alternator is to blame, we tell you — a battery that goes flat again by Thursday is not a sale, just a complaint on its way.
We match the right battery to your make, model and year before the van sets off, so it arrives with us instead of turning up a day later.
Before the old battery is disconnected we attach a memory saver, which keeps radio codes, seat positions and engine adaptations intact through the change.
On vehicles that need it, we use the manufacturer's tool to register the new battery with the car. Leaving that out cuts the battery's life short and cancels the warranty, so we include it rather than charging for it.
Brands we stock
Nineteen brands spread over three price bands, in conventional flooded, EFB and AGM. That means premium German AGM for European cars with start-stop, Japanese and Korean original-equipment fitments for Japanese and Korean models, and fairly priced value brands for older cars that need nothing more.
Each battery comes with a written warranty in your name, lasting up to 24 months according to the brand.
Our coverage area
Our base is Dubai Media City, and we cover the districts around it: Dubai Internet City, Al Sufouh and Knowledge Village, Barsha Heights, The Greens, The Views and Al Barsha; Dubai Marina, JLT, JBR, Bluewaters, Dubai Harbour and Palm Jumeirah; the Emirates Living villa communities from Emirates Hills through to Jumeirah Park; plus the Media City section of Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Sufouh Road and Hessa Street. We're available 24/7, every day, Fridays and public holidays included, because those are the days cars stay parked longest and batteries give out.
Between jobs, our 3 vans are stationed inside the Media City cluster — at Media City, JLT and Barsha Heights — and that positioning is why a 25-minute average is something we actually hit, not just something we aim for.
What happens to your old battery
We take it away in the van free of charge and pass it to a processor licensed by Dubai Municipality. Lead-acid batteries count as hazardous waste, yet they are also among the most fully recyclable products in existence — roughly 99% of the material is recovered and reused in new batteries.
